FROM BAROQUE TO BEIJING OPERA

Festival School Shows running November 8-9 weaves together many of the world’s most celebrated operas – from Azerbaijan, China, Korea, India, Tibet and more.

An outgrowth of 17 years of youth programming, this production is our Festival’s commitment to building bridges for youths of the Bay Area to experience together the cultures of the world.

Each show includes on-the-ground film footage from countries abroad, legendary opera stories, as well as traditional music of cultures around the world.
